RECIPE: THE GANJARITA

Our very own Nikki Johnson, a Lab Technician here at Triple M (and former bartender!), created this recipe and we can say with confidence that this margarita-inspired canna-cocktail is the perfect Cinco de Mayo sip.

Nikki came to us after spending years working seasonally in cannabis cultivation out west. After developing a passion for this ever-evolving industry, Nikki decided to move back to her home of Massachusetts once the Commonwealth legalized marijuana and she now works in our lab experimenting, manufacturing, innovating, and operating robots! Nikki works with the rest of the Triple M lab processing team to create our beverages and mixes, tinctures, edibles, vape cartridges, topicals, and more.

Nikki created this cannabis-infused cocktail recipe based on a classic margarita, and it truly tastes like our favorite Mexican cocktail.

Here’s how to make it:

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 bottle of Triple M Lemon Cannasyrup (we’re using LOW, which has 5mg of THC per bottle)
• 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
• 1 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
• 3 oz cold water
• 1/4 oz orange extract
• 2 or 3 pinches of salt

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake hard with ice.

Rub a lime wedge on rim of glass and dip it in salt, then fill that glass with ice. Strain the drink into glass and garnish with a lime. Sip responsibly!
